Vegan coffee or other’s called it a bulletproof coffee is often used by people who are on a fast, or for people who wants to lose weight.
This bulletproof coffee is proven effective to keep hunger at bay, it improves mental function, jump-starts your digestion, and stabilizes coffee’s effect on blood sugar.
So, I think this vegan coffee can also be drink by me diabetic friends out there. No more worrying for high blood sugar level, because this coffee drink is sugar friendly and has all vegan ingredients.
Bulletproof coffee calls for non-toxic coffee, free of herbicides and pesticides. It also contains MCT fats. One ingredient that bulletproof coffee normally has in it is grass fed butter. The star of the show for our vegan coffee is a coconut oil. Bulletproof coffee is not only a great way to add coconut oil to your diet, but it also helps the caffeine to last longer and digest at a slower rate.
It gets a little more time before you use to drinking coffee with coconut oil, but adding a little almond milk or full-fat coconut milk helps in taste and an even better consistency.
Here are the full steps on how to do the Vegan Bulletproof Coffee
1 cup organic coffee
1 tablespoon coconut oil or coconut butter*
2 tablespoons – 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk or full-fat coconut milk (optional)
5 drops stevia (optional)
Blend freshly brewed coffee with the rest of ingredients in a blender or NutriBullet. Coconut oil blends better with hot coffee.
Note: You can use coconut oil or coconut butter depending on your choice and taste preferences.
